ABOUT ME
Life constantly offers new challenges and new opportunities, and it’s this blog’s job to adapt and focus my attention on the most looming issue of the day. My former 'call sign' was Starving Artist, and this was a blog about getting out of debt and getting my finances in order. I've done that (for the most part). Now I'm interested in getting in shape, to trade my belly for a six-pack.
There's a long way to go between then and now, and I'm sure I'll stumble on the way.
“Indebted2You” was originally meant as an ironic title. I felt like I owed everyone and their brother money, but as time passed, I realized that I owed a genuine debt of gratitude to anyone and everyone who stopped by this site to listen for a moment, and to the world-at-large for offering me this space to work out my problems. I no longer think of my blog title as ironic—I am truly ‘indebted2you’, indebted to whoever reads and comments, whoever offers an email to encourage me on my way. I don’t have (by any stretch) a large audience, but I appreciate each person who takes a moment out of their day to say hi.
In my last "description" I said that there were many elephants in this room I call life. In some ways, taming my debt has made the others more apparent. I still have to confront the pachyderms that push aside my ambitions, I still have to be brave and face the daily challenges that many seem to breeze through but which I find incredibly challenging. This is still a blog about hunting mastodons.
